About:

Devin Pense is a director, executive producer, and photographer. He makes commercials, branded films, and documentary work, and photographs the world as he finds it.

His work includes the six-part YouTube Originals docuseries STRIVE, exploring the journey of refugee athletes training for the Tokyo Olympics; network promos and campaigns for ABC/Disney, The Oprah Winfrey Network; and a feature documentary created in collaboration with a Major League Baseball organization. Earlier in his career, he directed and produced for some of Nashville’s most recognized artists, including Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and Luke Bryan.

A recipient of multiple Telly Awards, Devin has led creative work for global brands such as Frito-Lay, AT&T, State Farm, and American Airlines, and has contributed to projects connected to multi-platinum records and award-winning campaigns.

Alongside his motion work, Devin is an active photographer. His images focus on quiet spaces, big towns, small towns, and finding light, a personal archive that preserves the in-between moments of contemporary America. The ongoing series is both document and mantra: I was there.

He lives and works between Texas, California and New York, continuing to develop new narrative projects, branded collaborations, and an original feature screenplay.
